Our goal is to partner with the church and Christian home in rearing God-fearing children who are academically, spiritually, socially, and physically equipped to walk in this present world and to let their light shine for Jesus Christ.

VCS Kindergarten Expansion Project
A VCS on Facebook Support Drive
We’ll with August upon us it’s time to start thinking about the upcoming school year here at VCS. God has always been good to us here at Valley and this year is no exception.
This year we have some exciting news to announce as we’re gearing up for an expansion. Yes the 2010-2011 school year will start with the addition of a new second Kindergarten class. We’re also adding a new soccer field on the side of the property and having new playground equipment installed.
As you’d expect with growth comes the need for additional funding to make all of this happen. We’re hard at work with the construction projects and sourcing all the classroom and outside materials needed to make this a reality.
VCS Grads came through spectacularly last summer during the VCS on Facebook: Computer Challenge 2009 effort to purchase critically needed new computers. The many donations ranging from $5.00 to $50.00 to $100.00 all contributed to the addition of 4 new computers.
For 2010-2011 we have some very specific requests. This year we’re asking that you prayfully consider donating towards some of the following items: a chair, a desk, and an easel. Yes, there are opportunities to donate all kinds of neat and important “stuff” that will go a long way toward furthering the VCS ministry.

What to expect in 2010-11 …
A Second Kindergarten Class
Valley Christian School will add an additional Kindergarten class. We are excited to have two classes of children this age and look forward to double the learning, fun and excitement that a Kindergarten class brings. A lot of learning happens in Kindergarten at VCS in a setting that is developmentally appropriate, seasoned with grace and heart focused.
A New Play Area!
Valley will have a great new soccer field and playground equipment when the children arrive in September.
New Music Program
A new music program called Zamar will kick off in September. Miss Lauzus will lead this new program which includes more students and additional instruments, a chorus and recorder ensemble. We look forward to enjoying the beautiful music that they will make.
Summer Prayer Opportunities
The teachers and staff meet weekly to pray. You are invited to attend
each Tuesday from 9am - 10 am in the HVPC sanctuary. If you have a prayer
need, please call the school office 215.947.4581 and we will pray!
